Marc West has spent over two decades crafting unforgettable moments on dancefloors across the UK, earning a reputation as a technically gifted DJ with a deep emotional connection to the music and the crowd. From his early days spinning vinyl at Vice Versa in Loughborough to his long-standing residency at Passion — one of the UK’s most iconic trance institutions — Marc’s journey has been defined by dedication, evolution, and a relentless pursuit of sonic excellence.

As a resident at Passion, Marc played to crowds of over 3,000, warming up for and closing down sets alongside global icons like Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Judge Jules, and Above & Beyond. His sets are known for their seamless transitions, melodic storytelling, and ability to read the room with precision — whether he’s building tension in a warm-up slot or unleashing euphoric energy in peak-time moments.

Marc’s production career began with the release of “D2FOP,” featured on Misja Helsloot’s In Trance We Trustcompilation. His collaboration “Magnetika” with Genix received remix support from St. John vs Locust and Digital Delinquents, showcasing his ability to blend underground grit with melodic finesse. In 2025, Marc returned to the spotlight with “The Beginning,” a collaboration with Jamie Baggotts released on Solarstone’s Pure Trance label. The track soared to #1 on Beatport’s Trance chart, reaffirming Marc’s place in the genre’s new wave of creators.

Beyond the booth and studio, Marc is a passionate mentor and educator. Through his venture The Resident DJ, he offers personalized tuition to aspiring DJs, blending technical mastery with real-world insight. Whether teaching via Zoom or in-person, Marc brings the same energy and attention to detail that defines his performances.

More recently, Marc has decided to give something back to the scene he loves with a new business called The Resident DJ, offering 1-2-1 DJ tuition.
